A new stimulus package plan unveiled Friday by Democrats include the following:

650 million – to help Americans upgrade to digital cable.
44 million – to repair & improve the HQ of the Dept. of Agriculture.
276 million – to upgrade & modernize info technology at the State Dept.
3.1 billion for the Dept. of Energy for basic research of physical science.
209 million – for maintenance work on all federal Agriculture research Services
400 million – in repairs for various “national treasures” including the National Mall & Smithsonian.
850 million – for “wild fire management”.
400 million – for “habitat restoration”.
2.7 billion for rural water & waste disposal.
2.4 billion for projects demonstrating carbon-capture technology.
2 billion – for day care.

and an undisclosed amount for other projects and programs… also some will be used for some health care related programs, but not universal health-care…

Nothing in this Obama stimulus package includes job creations or to help the economy. This is nothing more than Government waste spending as usual!

Well, when you lose your house & job, if you haven’t already, remember, you voted on Nov. 4th, now live with it when you are on the street corner asking for “change”… Now, you got “change”!

The major problem I have with Obama’s stimulus package as with any package of this nature proposed by a politician is that there is a high degree of probability a lot of ‘pork barrel’ will be offered up and the money squandered. Any government program is easily subject to misuse of funds. I see a lot of ‘grease’ in this package.
